Front desk
A token queue that does not stop when the internet does.
Reception registers the patient and issues a token. The board shows every patient's stage, from waiting through work-up, dilation and the doctor to investigation and pharmacy, and the TV display in the waiting area calls the next token.
When the connection drops, the board and the TV display keep running and reception keeps registering new patients. Everything syncs when the connection returns, with nothing entered twice.

What clinics ask us.
Do you charge per patient or per visit?
No. You pay for the plan. See 20 patients a day or 200, the price is the same.
Is GST extra?
Yes. Prices are shown without GST, and 18% is added on the invoice. Most clinics can't claim GST back on clinical services, so we show the price with GST on every plan.
How does the annual price work?
Pay for the year upfront and you pay for 11 months, so the twelfth is free. Solo is ₹21,990 a year instead of ₹23,988, for example.
What happens when the internet goes down?
The token board and the TV display keep running, and reception can keep registering new patients. Everything syncs when the connection returns.
Can I move from QEasys or my current software?
Yes. Your basic patient list and medicine list come across as part of onboarding, from the exports your current system gives you. Full visit history and scans can be moved too, from ₹24,999; we quote after seeing the export.
Can I take my data out?
Yes, at any time. A full export of your data is free, and there is no fee to leave.
Why Telegram and not SMS?
Reminders and recall go out on your clinic's own Telegram bot. Telegram messages cost nothing to send, so there are no credits to buy and no per-message bill. SMS and WhatsApp charge for every message, which is why they are not in the plan price. Patients opt in, and they can stop at any time by sending STOP.
What are "dictation and drafting helps"?
Speak the exam and it fills in the fields. You also get a prescription safety check, a visit summary for the patient in English or Tamil, and diagnosis coding. The doctor reviews and confirms everything. Each plan includes a monthly allowance; if you run out, the rest of Nalam keeps working as normal.
Who counts as a doctor?
A doctor is a consultant who prescribes. Optometrists, nurses, reception, pharmacy and billing staff are staff logins. A visiting doctor who works up to 12 sessions a month is ₹625 a month.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, up or down, from the next billing month. Your data stays where it is.
Where is my data stored, and who can see it?
On our managed servers, in a database of its own for your clinic. Only your staff, with the access you give them, can see patient records. Our engineers reach your system only when you ask for support, and every access is logged.
